Frugal Emergency Bags

Greetings,

With many world-wide natural disasters and uncertainties, it’s wise and responsible to have an emergency bag for one’s self and or family. I brought out our emergency back packs. We’re often adding more items, so I’m sharing the basics. The first thing to do is to make a list or print one of the items you’d like to add to the emergency pack(s). I purchased most of the items at a dollar Store and Wal-Mart. I used plastic zip lock bags to place the items in while being stored. If you’re new to having an emergency bag or food storage and are strapped for funds, pick up one item at a time as you make your weekly trips to the grocery and department stores. FYI, we purchased our water-proof back packs for half the price at TJMaxx.
