Uses for Lemons

Lemons are a fabulous fruit, they’re a delight to see, brighten and refresh a room, give a lovely scent and have multiple uses.


  • When life gives you lemmas, prove them, haha. I live with a mathematician. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Freshly squeezed lemonade is delicious and refreshing

Teas + Health

  • Lemon tea
  • Soothes a sore throat | Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the lemon into hot water

Scent + Launder

  • Fresh scent | Lemon juice mixed with baking soda
  • Brighten whites | 1/2 a cup of lemon juice added to the wash cycle


  • Cut a lemon into thin slices and place the lemons in a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Set the oven at 200 degrees. Keep the lemons in the oven for 4 hours and rotate every 20 minutes. Cover the lemons with parchment paper if the lemons begin to burn
