DIY Spring Wreath

Sharing a simple and inexpensive DIY Spring wreath.

Materials from the Dollar Tree- $9

  • Vine Wreath
  • Floral Bulbs
  • Yellow Florals
  • Burlap
  • Ceramic Eggs
  • Twine
  • Burlap Ribbon
  • Chalk Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Glue Gun

The eggs used were previously painted and the tutorial can be found here: Chalk Eggs

  • Begin by removing the floral from the stems. I simply slid each piece off each stem

  • Use the hot glue gun to apply the floral pieces onto the wreath
  • I layed the pieces out on the wreath to as the layout before I applied the glue

  • Once the floral were glued on, I added the eggs
  • For extra security I applied enough glue for each egg
  • I went for an uneven look, but if you’d prefer the wreath to be more uniform and even, one could add another egg.

  • Applying the burlap ribbon
  • One could make a bow or simply add one strand of ribbon
  • I decided to make 3 gathered loops

  • Cut 9 4in strands of the burlap ribbon

  • Apply glue to the burlap and fold the burlap over and hold
  • Repeat three times

  • Gather all three peices and glue as one piece

  • Use the twine to make a loop to hang the wreath

  • Finished
